ACADEMY

Cordia Football Academy, established at Cordia Institutes Campus, Sanghol (Punjab, India) is an initiative of Lord Diljit Rana, Member House of Lords and Chairman, Cordia Group. The academy was established and inaugurated by the Governor of Punjab H.E. Shri V.P.S Badnore in July 2017.

The Academy is committed to produce and mobilise resources to train children to become professional football players under the able guidance and operational leadership of Mr Chana Gill, The Sports Director of the Campus. It will enrol young players in unique football training programs, and also provide them with International coaching experience.

As one of Northern Ireland's most successful entrepreneurs, Lord Diljit Rana is a world-renowned expert when it comes to harnessing teamwork to achieve success. Having arrived in Belfast in the early 1960s, through hard work and dedication, he has built a vast hospitality business empire from humble beginnings in a small city centre café.

Founder of Andras Hotels, Belfast’s largest hotel group, which includes the Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Crowne Plaza, two Ibis Hotels and Hampton by Hilton, he has had a lifelong commitment to providing opportunities and helping young people fulfil their full potential.

CFA TIES UP WITH CLIFTONVILLE FC, BELFAST, NORTHERN IRELAND (UK)

Lord Diljit Rana
has announced a partnership between Cliftonville Football Club, Belfast (Northern Ireland) and the Cordia Football Academy from his native Punjab in India.

The collaboration, which commences in October 2019, will see a group of young players from The Cordia Football Academy, of which Lord Rana is the Chairman, come to Belfast to train with Cliftonville FC’s youth academy in a bid to share skills, brush up on their game and make new friends.

Lord Rana will help bring a group of under-14 students from the Cordia Football Academy to Belfast in October 2019 to attend Cliftonville Football Club’s youth academy. Here the students will observe the facilities, interact with local players, play friendly matches and enjoy the local culture. The Sports Director of the Campus Mr Chana Gill will play a key role in identifying talent and enrolling them for the program.


 

UK & IRELAND INTERNATIONAL FOOTBALL CAMP.

Cordia Football Academy, in association with Cliftonville Football & Athletics Club, Belfast (UK) is organizing a Football Camp from the 23rd of April to the 1st of May 2020 for young players of age group 8-16 years, Boys & Girls. This is a superb opportunity to experience the game in International Standards, play friendly matches with Irish teams and experience the culture of UK & Ireland.

Interested young players may contact 95601 20549 or 83601 71129 to reserve their place. Limited seats available on a first come first served basis. The cost of the Camp is INR 1,40,000 for 9 days (both dates inclusive), which includes Flights, Visa cost, Transfers, Boarding & Lodging, City Sight seeing, and training sessions. Players will be trained & accompanied by our International Coach Tommy Taylor to UK & Ireland.
Payment Schedule:
1st Payment : INR 30,000 for Visa Process (Non refundable)
2nd Payment: INR 1,10,000 for the Coaching Camp

Lord Rana said: “I am delighted to be working with Cliftonville FC given the club's longstanding, respected status and its great work with local youth.

“I set up the Cordia Academy to help identify talented young sportspeople and give them the best chance of success. We open access by offering scholarships to young people from low-income families. I know personally that if an individual has the drive and talent and is given the right opportunities, they will flourish regardless of their starting point.
